Welcome to my world of creativity and clay!

I am Helena, I have a degree in architecture and my passion for ceramics began in 2013 when I started a small creative ceramics module at Ar.Co. The following year, I opened my studio to start my experiences. The first few years, were spent attending various training courses at CENCAL and exploring different techniques with different types of clay, colors, and glazes, always in search of new forms of expression.

I have been dedicating my work to painting replicas of traditional tiles for national buildings and monuments and it is a privilege to contribute to the conservation and preservation our historical heritage, transforming the beauty of tiles into accessible art.
Each piece I create is a tribute to our history and the art that adorns our national buildings and monuments of Portugal.

​Aside, creative ceramics are an essential part of my daily life. I like to explore different techniques, such as impressions, decals and natural engobes, to give my work more expression. Each creation is a new opportunity to experiment and innovate, resulting in unique and personalized works. I believe that ceramics is an art form that connects us with nature and our own creativity.

Clay represents the interaction of the four elements: water, air, earth, and fire. With the human touch, it takes shape, allowing for the of artistic skills and self-discovery. Each piece created is an opportunity to explore our essence and our connection with the world around us.
